Evangelism Isn’t About Perfect Words — It’s About Love

Let’s be honest: for a lot of believers, evangelism can feel intimidating.

We picture someone bold, confident, and quick with Scripture—someone who always knows what to say, never stumbles over their words, and somehow turns every conversation into a spiritual moment without it feeling awkward. (This, however, takes much practice.)

And when we don’t feel like that person, we quietly assume we’re not “good at evangelism.”

But here’s the truth:

Evangelism isn’t about having the perfect words—it’s about loving people enough to share the hope that saved you.

That’s it.

Not perfect delivery.

Not polished theology.

Not a flawless presentation.

Just love.

Go ahead and preach your truth. Practice it until you feel comfortable enough to evangelize without fear, anxiety, or worry. Love through it, being guided by faith. God will open up the opportunity for you to share your story with unshakable power.

Amen.
